Jun 18,  · 'It Can't Happen Here' is just the last half of 'Help, I'm A Rock' (it was one eight-minute song on the original LP) - splitting it over two sides of a 12" slab is adding another layer of pointlessness over issuing this thing in the first place. I own no Zappa on vinyl except for the RSD "I'm The Slime" single. All my Zappa listening has.

5. I have listened ZAPPA's work mainly from the years to , and I think this is the best live recording from that timeline. The eight-piece orchestra (including JEAN-LUC PONTY) brings forth a massive wall of fast, chaotic and extremely witty fusion jazz rock/5(5).

8. This album seems to have been produced and realized during one of the most unhappy and dire times in Zappa’s career. He was practically peniless, stuck in that suffocating lawsuit with Warner Brothers, had no control or ownership of any of his past recordings, and was sitting at home working on new tunes into a plain-old tape recorder.
